The extra free content is a new "Edition Austria" addon - a new region extending the original map of the game with 4 Austrian cities and scenic roads in the Alps. (Austrian retail stores sell this as a new SKU - a boxed edition of this extended game as "Austrian Truck Simulator" - but in reality what's in the box is the original German Truck Simulator with this free extension).
The new game demo has all the following languages included:
English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Czech, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Swedish and Polish.

The game requires a PC compatible and DirectX 9 capable 256MB graphics card, with Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7, DirectX 9, 2.2 GHz CPU, and 1 GB of system memory.

How to update an older version of the game:
Be advised that several different releases of the 1.32 update ("patch") are coming - as needed for different online and retail versions of the game as released in various territories. Is is important that you select the proper patch for your particular edition of the game, otherwise you will not be able to update your game!

How to update an older version of the game:
1. The online "Trymedia" edition, as downloaded from this website
1. There is no separate "patch file" - please download the full setup file of the latest German Truck Simulator here.
2. Uninstall your older version of the game. Don't worry about losing the license, it is stored in a different location than the game installation folder. Your valid license for the game survives through this and following steps, there is no need to re-activate. The game save files will also survive re-installation, they are also stored in a different location. Caution: this update may affect compatibility with game "mods," in case of problems, always try to remove mods first to see if it helps!
3. Install the freshly downloaded 1.32 edition of the game
